Header Development + Adventures in Muse

Experimenting with subtle parallax effects to ramp up the stimulating feel of our website.

Tried the same effect on the schedule page but the motif is visually cluttered and takes away from the sophistication of the rest of the page. Colours also don't mesh well. I tried to make the numbers overlay on top of the pattern but this is IMPOSSIBLE to do in muse while retaining the scroll effect.

Conclusion: scrap the pattern scroll but consider incorporating it in the margins (would require a fixed width site) and experiment with other images. Header effect is cool!
